The email address associated with your account is required in order to verify your account. It can then also be used to receive email notifications from the platform. These include notifications of completed data exports, notifications sent by Site Administrators and messages set up to notify you of changes to Record data. To change the email address on your account first access your account (see here for instructions). Then scroll down the page to view the current email address linked to your account. Then enter the new email address you would like to receive notifications to.
You will see a message that the change of email address will require user verification. This is achieved via the following steps.
- Click on the tick icon in the top right corner to generate an email from Softools to the new email address.
- Open the email from Softools asking for verification of the new address.
- Copy and paste the link contained in this email into a supported browser.
- Enter your account password to confirm the new address.
If successful you will receive a message telling you that the email address has been successfully changed.
