Welcome to our bi-weekly Softools App Builder Update, where we'll keep you updated with the latest feature updates, case studies, and community member interviews. It'll be short, sweet, and salient. 

As this is the last edition of 2022, we would like to thank you for following our progress this year! We wish you and your families a great festive season and a Happy New Year and be sure to stay tuned next year with exciting developments. 

Congratulating students who presented ESG solutions built on Softools at  EM-Normandie Business School, Oxford! 

Shout-out to the 5 teams of EM-Normandie students who completed a 2-week challenge where they were tasked to come up with ESG solutions for Fintechs or Banks. 

Softools sponsored the challenge and provided access to the ABC training program to enable the solutions to create applications to illustrate their propositions.

The students came up with ESG assessments for various stakeholders including Banks, Crypto investors, Crowdfunding platforms and businesses.

We were impressed with their knowledge, hard work and great ideas which we may see emerge in future solutions powered by Softools in the future!

WATCH: QUICK FILTERS IN ACTION!!

Softools report filtering is being transformed. Currently available in preview alongside the traditional filtering method so you can try it now - Quick Filters can be enabled at report level. Please try it out and send us your feedback, we have plans to extend functionality early next year and see this as being the default for the future!

App Builder Surgery Sessions - are you missing out?

Our latest app builder surgery session had a buzzing turnout with the app builders of the ongoing Softools ABC cohort. Students of EM Normandie International Business School who are solving a real-life business problem using the Softools NoCode Platform!

Our operations analyst - Amy Slater - led the session providing fast instant assistance and solutions to help the budding App Builders make progress.

“All of the cohorts were extremely engaged and very inquisitive - they were all getting through ABC very well and were creating impressive apps,” Amy said when asked about her experience of leading such a workshop. 

App Builder Surgery sessions provide ready access to the Softools experts for answering questions and sharing best practices. We have had great feedback from members of our community who have attended.

To cater for our global community we have scheduled workshops weekly with the time changing each week so there will be a session that suits your timezone at least once a fortnight.

New Feature Release: Tech Guide!!

Tech Guide enables you to create app-specific guides for users, which are accessible within the respective app. Moreover, it provides App Builders with instant visibility of the architecture of the app and how it integrates with other apps and workflows on the platform to speed up application maintenance and knowledge transfer. 


We’ll be publishing a video walkthrough of creating a Tech Guide soon, along with the stepwise article on the same for your reference! 

We have been witnessing a surge in participation for our App Builder Training cohorts from a huge spectrum of professionals, students, solopreneurs, Heads of departments, and more! They are pivoting their careers with No-code skills and Softools expertise they learn within 4 weeks. 

Participants of our latest cohort, students of EM Normandie International Business School, who are building apps to solve a business challenge are a shining example of how practical the training is.
