In this post, I will be showing you how to add an image by default to an image field. This can be used to show an important graphic at the start of a project or a process map for onboarding clients.
The first step is to add the image in the image list assets area, this can be found in the left-hand panel under settings in the cog menu. Make sure to add the image as a compatible format like PNG or JPEG. To upload an image you need to drag and drop it in the box at the top of the image list asset screen. Once uploaded copy the image asset number in the central column.
If any of this is not visible contact your site administrator to ask for permissions to upload images to image asset assets.
Once you have the asset you then need to go to the required image field you would like this to be on. Scroll down to the default value box and enter in this value - /ImageListAsset/assetnumber- with the asset number you copied before Like below
Once done go into workspace, then to the add record screen to see if the image appears
