Amy Slater, 3rd Year Psychology Student, Tutor for 3 Years - 2 Years User Experience

Prior to using Softools as a platform for my tutoring work, I was using notes on the unreliable tutoring platform that I obtain work through. This meant that I had scattered notes and confusing information on my students that made my job more difficult than necessary. However, since using Softools, I have been able to add more detailed notes, keep track of lessons, predict income and track payments. This has allowed me to focus on the more important details of my work such as creating resources for my students and become more focused. The export function has meant that I am able to provide detailed notes immediately to the parents of m students in order for them to track their child's progress.

The platform is easy to use and self-explanatory, which I was concerned about initially as I am not the most tech-savvy person. It was a relief to start utilising the platform and finding out about the filters and customisations that I could tweak in order to make it work for me. I have found no problems with the platform, it has always been fast and up-to-date, allowing me to work on the go and offline. 

Overall, the platform has improved my work life in addition to my studies as it allows me to track my time and work efficiently by balancing my degree and work. I would highly recommend the platform to everyone, no matter what their IT skill level or specific intentions/work that they require the platform for.
