We Are Growing Our Team!

Excited to share that Gustavo Maryssael is joining the Softools sales team from 1st November! He has a background in Industrial Engineering and loves complex challenges. Gus has proven experience in digitising global business processes and achieving successful user adoption and business outcomes and we look forward to welcoming him to our team where he will help our customers maximise the benefits of the Softools platform. We're excited to bring him on board!

First Steps of App Versioning

It all starts with a button and a vision. A new Publish feature is coming to our App Studio soon. Changes can be clustered before being deployed so users do not see the effects of partial changes. Following on will be the capability to enable the App Builder to test the changes in the apps before deploying them to users and ultimately there will be the ability to automatically roll back changes to a previous version.

In the lead-up to this powerful feature, app builders will start to see small changes to the platform. The most imminent will be the need to publish changes that you make. We will keep you updated on each of the phases of this development via our App Builder Community newsletter and our status.softools.net channel and we look forward to bringing this powerful capability to you in the coming months.

The Workflow V2

We have upgraded our Workflow engine with a new visual interface that enables you to string workflows and integrations! The Workflow V2 is available for all our customers, with a superfast migration process. New options have already arrived such as the simplified configuration of schedule-based workflows and automated field updates. We look forward to new features being added soon - feel free to let us know your suggestions!

Dual Reports Are Now Available in Home Dashboards

Dual reports allow you to display a chart and list/table report together and control both with a common filter. You will recall this was implemented a few months ago as an option within an Application.

Now you can use Dual Reports in your home dashboards too! Here are more details you might find useful.
