Folder Menu |
Click on the Folders menu and select from the list of Homepages. Homepages are typically made up of:

Homepage Graphics
Portal homepages often feature large, visually striking graphics to quickly convey key information. These infographics display the portal as a visual workflow explaining core business methodology.

Action Buttons
Adding Action Buttons to a Homepage allows intuitive site navigation. This is commonly quick navigators to relevant Apps within the portal but it could be useful links to external resources as well such as websites and blogs or third party integrated services.
- Dashboard ChartsDisplaying charts from Apps up at the Homepage layer highlight critical business insights. This can make complex data more accessible, engaging, and easier to act on—especially for users who need quick insight without digging through detailed reports.
Launchpad |
Click on the Launchpad to access your apps. Which apps are available to you will be determined by your user account. Simply click on each app to launch it.
Home |
Click on the Home icon whenever you want to return to your Site Homepage. This is a way to reset your navigation back to the top level site information. If your homepage enables you to then this will also give you access to global app navigators and dashboard graphics.
Actions |
Click on the action to access the homepage features menu. The features available to you will be determined by the Permissions you have been granted as a User but the most common action here is to refresh data in dashboard report tiles
Settings |
What you see in this menu will also be determined by your User permissions. This menu will allow you to switch to your User Profile, App Studio or Log Out from the portal.
Notifications |
Click on the Notifications bell icon to access notifications. Notifications typically tell you of events that have happened that you may be interested in such as the completion of an Export/Import or a Workflow that has run. Notifications will often contain useful links to related Records or Documents. If there are more than 100 notifications, then those older than 60 days will be removed.
Support Widget |
The Softools Help center is found at support.softools.net. This is also available from within the platform via the support widget at the bottom of the left-pane menu.
