Testing Visibility & Security
Wither it's assigning record access rights or form/template visibilities keeping track of all the securities can be difficult as such it is important to test them when implementing any changes.
Changing Teams
A way to test if a visibility for a team is correctly implemented is to change your user account to that team. To change your team you will need to be on the 'My Profile' page which can be found by clicking onto the gear icon at the top right of the workspace.
Once onto the page you can change your team membership by selecting the team you would wish to test. It is also best to select only one team as multiple team membership might have conflicting team access.
Creating a test user account
To test multiple team access it would be best to create a new test user account which you can use to compare with your own account. The process to creating a test account works the same as creating any normal account which you can read more about here. However, a slight difference is that rather then using the same email you create multiple account using the '+' symbol following any piece of string before the @ symbol such as user+1@email.com or user+test@email.com, which would enable you to create a different user with different team access.
When comparing team accesses, you can't user multiple user account for the same browser as by logging in to a new user you will need to log out from the account on the site. Therefore, a way to compare accounts is by logging into the newly created test account using a separate browser or by using incognito mode.
