Workflow

Workflow can be used to automate key actions such as sending email notifications, updating security on records and linking Child Records to an appropriate Parent Record. It does this by setting up a Trigger and Action. The Trigger is what happens to a record in order for the Workflow to run which could be Record creation or on Update of a Field in a Record. The Action is then what happens when this trigger is met.
