Further to the standard import via CSV article which can be found here : Importing via CSV, Softools has options at the point of import to specify that the file may be formatted to a locale which is non standard CSV.
For some countries, such as Spain and Germany, Excel changes the formatting of CSV files when saved so that the separator between fields in the rows is not the normal comma we expect. This has caused issues in the past with imports failing.
At the point of import (assuming you have permissions to import, you will see the following option on the import dialogue window:
Toggling the "Show Import Options" will give the user the option to specify the country in which the locale is and also if necessary, the field separator, if the file has a different setting from the locale
The import will then run using these parameters as per the article mentioned above
