It has been an exciting time at Softools! We have two new joiners and we celebrate Karl’s 10th anniversary with Softools. We're also highlighting our work with the Women In Prison organisation. Let’s dive in! 

How a UK National Charity, Women In Prisons, uses Softools to help reduce custodial sentences for Female offenders

Women In Prison (WIP)  has been helping to drive systemic change in the Criminal Justice System (CJS) and strengthen the collective voice of women's centres and specialist organisations working with women across England & Wales. 

Since its founding in 1983, WIP has been working with hundreds of centres and specialist organisations to influence policy and improve the support given to women affected by CJS.

Softools were chosen to build a dynamic digital toolkit that is empowering women’s centres to create a massive social impact through easier collaborations, referrals, and more.

Make Your Data Capturing Smoother with Regex Presets

One of the biggest issues with analysing data is the consistency of the format that the values have been given. 
 
Softools have now added an extra layer to enable you to ensure that the data you receive from Users is clean and ready to be processed for insights. 
 
Our regex feature now offers a number of standard presets to ensure that you capture data in a format that is expected. 

For example, if you wanted to ask for a Post Code and restrict the location entry to be within Reading, UK and its surrounding areas, you could use a regex to ensure that the value entered begins with the letters 'RG'. And you can then also ensure that it still fits the format of a valid UK Postcode on top by extending the Regex.
