Welcome to our bi-weekly Softools App Builder Update, where we'll keep you updated with the latest feature updates, case studies, and community member interviews. It'll be short, sweet, and salient.

This edition, the first of 2023, we are bringing you news from our growing app builder community. So, let's get into it!

Homepage Visibility

We are thrilled to introduce our new feature, Homepage Visibility, which enables sites to have multiple, customised homepages for different teams.

This feature delivers tailored user journeys to different teams. Recently a client who as Applications for Distribution depots and Manufacturing Sites was able to create a dedicated homepage for each user group and only show the Manufacturing team the homepage with Manufacturing App Links and Dashboards (and vice versa).

Additionally, this feature allows for the creation of a comprehensive dashboard for executives to view multiple reports simultaneously while offering users a simpler and less confusing entry screen.

2023 Plans

As always, a new year brings exciting new features and plans for Softools! 

Stay tuned to be the first to hear about our innovations, here is a little teaser of what is to come:

• An enhanced filtering capability is in development to enable users to find their information faster. The filter pane can be pinned to remain on screen and App Builders will be able to curate filters to optimise user journeys. Preview below!

• Workflow keeps on getting better - with plans to enable easier integration with other systems. 

• Pop-up capability - to improve navigation and user experience - particularly for viewing information from a child application from the parent.

Preventing Duplicate Record Creations – Softools
