Templates & Forms & Rules

Templates provide a layout for Fields. You can use a template to group Fields into a logical order for data input. Our Basic Template Builder allows you to place Fields into a grid layout. Forms are the second stage of Record layout. Once the Fields have been grouped into templates you can then add these templates to Forms. By doing this in a logical way you can guide the user through the Business Process needed to complete the records in the App. Using multiple Forms gives a bigger distinction between the different Fields captured than templates. It is a combination of Fields and Forms that define the layout and therefore process for the Record in the App.
