Forms, Templates and Fields enable us a systematic approach in managing business process. As seen in the image above the structure is as follows: A Form encapsulates the template(s) and the template encapsulates the field(s).
- Forms – provide a natural grouping for Templates, often reflecting the stages or phases of the process being followed. Each Form is divided into one or more Templates.
- Templates – present the data input Fields in a logical and attractive way.
- Fields – provide a means for capturing data, either via direct manual input, via csv import / export routines or via automatic system routines using APIs
When at an App level, in the Left hand side you will see the content menu. The content menu will house List and Table Reports, Charts, Matrix's, Card Reports and Dashboards.
List reports will hold your records that you create. There can be multiple List reports added that can be filtered to show different types of records. Another type of report are chart reports, which can present data from records graphically. Dashboards, are built in a grid manner with each cell able to contain, charts, action fields and images. Matrix reports display information in a 2x2 matrix which each cell displaying either the number of records or a value of underlying records.
